Tritton mine site goes live on MINEMAN
Straits Limited Tritton copper mine site has gone live on both the MINEMAN Marketing and Finance modules.
The Tritton copper mine, located near Nynqan in NSW is 100% owned and operated by Straits. Straits Resources is an established copper mining and exploration company listed on the Australian Securities Exchange.
The Tritton copper mine is Strait’s flagship operation in NSW which produces 25,000 tonnes of coppers concentrate annually.
MINEMAN is the world's leading software and services solution for metal sales.
The initial project to use the MINEMAN Marketing module was completed in only 10 weeks. This enabled all concentrate management to be run directly out of the MINEMAN System including invoicing, shipping documentation and general marketing management.
The second phase to incorporate the MINEMAN Finance module was completed shortly after and enabled the ability to do complete cashflow forecasting, MTM and month-end revaluations all based on data already captured in the Marketing module.
The MINEMAN System has added structure and auditability around the marketing processes and significantly reduced the amount of manual interaction in producing month-end financials. The system is being delivered out of Mineman’s Sydney datacentre meaning there are no on-site infrastructure requirements and the system is accessible from anywhere.
