Goldcorp extends integration of MINEMAN Bullion Trading System
Goldcorp has cut over to an extended version of MINEMAN Bullion Trading system. The bullion trading system was initialy installed in July 2013 and is used to sell the gold and silver bullion produced from all of Goldcorp's mining operations in Canada, the USA, Mexico and Central & South America.

The MINEMAN Bullion Trading system integrates with the MINEMAN Doré Management system to create a single solution for management of gold and silver at a high level of abstraction, for corporate planning and trading, and at a detailed level, for tracking of weights, assays, inventories and for group metal accounting and reconciliation.
MINEMAN Bullion Trading tracks and accounts for every ounce of gold and silver produced by Goldcorp's mining operations, through gold refining, to transfers between metal accounts, bullion banks and bullion sales. The system also determines the disbursements back each mine according to exacting rules surrounding the individual sequence of doré shipments and bullion outturns.
A sophisticated model of the end-to-end business process allows Goldcorp's traders to confidently execute trades in real-time. The high degree of visibility and control allows an unprecedented depth of corporate oversight on all aspects of production and revenue.
The recent enhancements extend the system upstream into all of Goldcorps mining operations, allowing each mine to directly update their production production forecasts and daily production statistics. The enhancements will allow Goldcorp's bullion trading activities to respond even more quickly to changes in mine production forecasts and real time mine production statistics.
