Mineman Launches new Managed Services business
MINEMAN Systems, the worlds leading software and services solution for metal sales, has launched a new business called MINEMAN Managed Services. Mining companies can now outsource all of their back office activities for metal sales.
MINEMAN Systems is a multinational company with staff in five countries and are supporting mines in over 30 countries. Its traditional business is the development and implementation of a proprietary software solution called MINEMAN, and the support of that solution for mining companies who use the solution to sell their metals and manage their associated financials.
The new business allows mining companies to outsource their back office activities traditionally associated with their use of MINEMAN. These activities include logistics, materials tracking, ship chartering, contract management, marketing administration (weights, assays and settlement), revenue accounting including Mark-to-Market financials, journals, and cashflow forecasting.
MINEMAN Systems is uniquely positioned to be able to offer this new service. The company is staffed mining industry people who have carried out these activities the past. The company can operate MINEMAN very efficiently anywhere in the world using its global cloud-based infrastructure. It can execute the business from five offices around the world, where ever is best for document presentation, speeding up the mine's cashflow.
The company already manages metal sales contracts on behalf of it's clients, some several hundred contracts every year. The company also promotes industry standards, best practices and unique ways of increasing revenue, all of which will benefit mining companies who outsource their metal sales activities to MINEMAN Managed Services. The mining companies can then be free to focus their efforts on business strategy and other improvements.
