Minera Panamá Copper Concentrate live on MINEMAN
The Minera Panamá Copper Concentrate Sales System is now live on MINEMAN as of 1st June 2019.
About Minera Panamá S.A.
Minera Panamá S.A. is based in Panama Sth America. The Cobré Panamá mine is a large open-pit copper mine being developed in Panamá. The site is located 120 kilometres west of Panamá City and 20 kilometres from the Caribbean Sea coast, in the district of Donoso, Colon province, in the Republic of Panamá.
Mineman has implemented the MINEMAN system to manage the Cobré Panamá metal sales and integrate with the MCT hub in the UK. Minera Panamá S.A. is part of the First Quantum Metals group.
About the project
Minera Panamá S.A is implementing the MINEMAN solution to manage their metal sales for copper concentrate and future sales of gold and silver doré and molybdenum concentrates. The aim of the project has been to manage the commodity sales of Cobré Panamá using the MINEMAN Release 7 Marketing system.
This completes the initial work at Cobré Panamá now, having both the coal procurement and metal sales systems live. Additional work for phasing in doré and molybdenum concentrate sales will be done at a later stage, when the site plans to bring these products on line.
