MINEMAN is being used by the newly formed Minerals and Metals Group Ltd (MMG) for the marketing of its concentrates and metals. In June this year MMG acquired most of the assets of OZ Minerals and the former Zinifex group, including Golden Grove, Avebury, Rosebery and Century in Australia, and Sepon in Laos. MMG uses MINEMAN for contract management and marketing of a diverse range of mine products including copper/gold concentrates, zinc concentrates, lead/silver concentrates, nickel/cobalt concentrates, copper cathodes and gold dore. This integrated, global application has allowed MMG to begin operations with an efficient and effective platform for managing its revenue stream. MINEMAN is delivered to MMG users in Australia and Laos from the MINEMAN Systems' data centre located at the international communications gateway in Sydney. MINEMAN is also used by other major resource companies including Sterlite Industries of India, Newcrest Mining, Rio Tinto, OZ Minerals, Iluka Resources, Perilya Broken Hill, Ok Tedi Mining, Barrick Gold and Newmont Mining. In 2009 approximately 40% of Australia's gold production and 15% of the world's traded copper will be managed through MINEMAN.
