About the project

Capstone Copper expanded its existing MINEMAN production system to include two additional Chilean sites—Mantos Blancos and Mantoverde—and added new commodities for the existing Pinto Valley operation.

The project added support for copper cathode and molybdenum concentrate at Pinto Valley, alongside configuration to manage sales for the new Chilean operations.

Scope

The project included:

Additional commodities at Pinto Valley: Addition of copper cathode and molybdenum concentrate configuration.

Government invoice numbering integration: Integration with the third-party agency GO Socket to meet government invoice numbering requirements.

Spanish documentation: Specialised custom documents produced in Spanish for local operational requirements.

Reporting enhancements: Sales journals and additional reporting that Capstone had not previously been using.

Delivery and go-live

The project went live in stages, with the Pinto Valley update delivered first. Following completion, MINEMAN worked with Capstone’s local Chilean team to review and finalise requirements for the Chilean solution. The project included UAT support and remote training delivered by the MINEMAN team.

The following MINEMAN modules were configured: Marketing and Finance.

The Capstone Additional Sites and Commodities project successfully went live on 18 December 2023.

Capstone Copper has been a MINEMAN client since 2015, reflecting a long-standing partnership built on continuous system evolution, operational expansion and trusted collaboration across multiple sites and commodities.
