Hudbay goes live on MINEMAN
Hudbay's new Constancia mine in Peru has gone live on MINEMAN.
Hudbay Minerals (HBM) is a Canadian integrated mining company with operations, development properties and exploration activities across the Americas principally focused on the discovery, production and marketing of base and precious metals.
MINEMAN is the world's leading software and services solution for logistics, marketing and revenue financials for concentrates and metals.
Hudbays new copper mine, Constancia, located in southern Peru, achieved commercial production on April 30, 2015. The mine produces around 82,000 tonnes of copper metal in concentrates, and commercial volumes of molybdenum and silver. The concentrates are trucked to the port of Matarani and exported to overseas markets.
The standard out-of-the box solution for MINEMAN R7 was implemented for Hudbay in record time and went live on 1 October 2015. All metal sales, month end MTM valuations and cashflow forecasting are now carried out using MINEMAN. The solution is delivered from MINEMAN Systems' global cloud-based infrastructure.
