IGO add Nova Nickel Operation
The Independence Group (IGO) is a leading ASX listed diversified mining, development and exploration company, with a portfolio of high quality gold and base metals mining operations in Western Australia and a growing pipeline of belt scale green fields exploration projects.
IGO have been using MINEMAN for their copper and zinc concentrate sales from the Jaguar mine since September 2013.
A new acquisition for IGO is the Nova operation which currently has three buyer contracts. Commercial production commenced in July 2017 with the operation expected to reach nameplate production in the September 2017 quarter.
IGO contracted MINEMAN to implement the recently acquired Nova Nickel mine into IGO’s existing Mineman system. In addition to the Nova mine configuration, Mineman provided a bespoke production royalty report.
The project was successfully completed and the Nova Nickel mine went live on MINEMAN as of 28th November 2016 in preparation for what was then an anticipated first quarter production start-up.
