The MINEMAN Portal Goes Live!

The Mineman Portal officially launched as of 15th September 2017. The Mineman Portal is a completely new offering from Mineman Systems and aims to bring buyer and seller closer together by putting real-time information in the hands of the buyer while strengthening the buyer seller relationship. This new style of interaction between buyer and seller aims to streamline the flow of information, remove the day to day noise and allow both parties to focus on what is truly important.

The Mineman Portal provides buyers full access to all their data around their shipments including real-time satellite vessel position updates . The buyer can also view or download any documentation related to the shipment, including invoices, BoL certificates, stowage plans, contract summaries and much more.

At go-live, the Portal will be initially implemented for Ok Tedi Mining. Ok Tedi have been using Mineman Managed Services to assist with its sales and marketing functions since early 2016. The Mineman Portal is just the latest evolution of that partnership. The Mineman Portal will be used by some of the world’s leading smelters and traders including, Sumitomo Metal Mining, PASAR, Marubeni, Dowa and Mitsubishi Materials Corporation.

Garry Martin of Ok Tedi labelled the introduction of the Portal as “..a game changer”.
