About Lundin Mining.
Lundin Mining is based in Vancouver, Canada
Caserones is an open pit copper-molybdenum mine operated by Lundin Mining with a 70% interest in Minera Lumina Copper Chile, with JX Metals Corporation holding the remaining 30% interest. Lundin Mining acquired its ownership from JX Metals Corporation in 2023
Caserones produces high-quality copper concentrate, copper cathode and molybdenum concentrate.
About the project
Addition of Caserones mine into the existing Lundin MINEMAN system.
The aim of the project has been to deliver the additional configuration to support the new site and commodities to manage the mine sales.
The project was agreed in June 2023 with a requested go live by end Q3 2023. Even with some delay in getting buyer contracts finalised the team managed to meet the target. The MINEMAN team and Lundin team worked well throughout the project with open communication.
The following MINEMAN modules were configured: Marketing, Finance.
The Lundin Mining - Caserones project went live on the 27 September 2023.
Lundin Mining has been a MINEMAN client since 2015
