Ban Houayxai gold-silver mine in Laos goes live using MINEMAN
MINEMAN has gone live for PanAust's new Ban Houayxai mine in Laos. The integrated system manages the handling and sales of gold-silver doré from Ban Houayxai in addition to copper concentrates from PanAust's Phu Kham copper mine.
PanAust is an Australia-based S&P/ASX 100 (ticker:PNA) copper and gold producer with operations in Southeast Asia. The Company has a portfolio of growth projects in Laos and Chile.
MINEMAN is the world's leading software and services solution for the commercial realization of concentrates and metals. The unique architecture of MINEMAN Release 7 is designed to streamline the transactions in metal-bearing commodities and to maximise the value of a company's revenue stream.
The Ban Houayxai mine produces around 1 tonne of gold-silver doré bars per month. The new system streamlines the business processes from the mine site through to commercial settlement, and provides a high level of control and transparency on the metal sales.
The project was implemented in by the MINEMAN project team in Australia and the MINEMAN implementation team in Bombay, India. The solution is delivered over the internet, and operated by PanAust staff in Brisbane, Australia, the regional office in Vientiane, Laos, and the remote mine sites in Laos.
