COVID-19 Statement

Dear colleagues and customers,

I write to you to provide an update of the evolving situation concerning COVID-19 (commonly known as coronavirus) and the impact on Mineman Systems.

Mineman continues to carefully and regularly monitor any new developments concerning COVID-19. To ensure we have the latest news, our primary sources of information are the Department of Health and Human Services in each of the regions where we have offices or staff. We will always act on their advice and do as directed. We also receive helpful guidance from local Mineman management.

Based on local government advice, all staff in our Manilla and Peru offices will be working remotely for the next several weeks. To date, we have not made any substantial changes to our business practices and how we support our customers. We acknowledge the importance of personal hygiene at all times so encourage all staff to continue following sanitary practices: wash hands often with soap and running water, cover your nose and mouth with a tissue when you cough or sneeze and if you don’t have a tissue cough or sneeze into your upper sleeve or elbow, use an alcohol-based hand sanitiser, isolate yourself at home if you feel sick, and contact your doctor first if you need medical attention.

If any staff present at the Mineman office with the following, they will not be allowed to enter:
• feel unwell or have symptoms (e.g. fever, sore throat, runny nose, coughing, vomiting and headaches) and have recently returned from overseas, or
• have been in close contact with someone with these symptoms who has recently returned from overseas, or
• have no symptoms, but have returned in the last 14 days from a country with confirmed cases of COVID-19.

It is a rapidly changing situation and new information is being presented constantly. Additional cases and outbreaks of COVID-19 are expected as this illness continues to spread across the world.

Be assured, Mineman Systems has in place options to mitigate risk and maintain business continuity, to ensure that alternative mechanisms are available to continue to support our customers with minimal disruption to those customers or staff. As events progress, if we need to engage these options, we will then inform those impacted as soon as is practical to do so.

If there are any developments or changes to the advice, staff will be immediately notified through the Mineman Management Team.
